Introduction to Von Falconer K-9

Hello, I'm Eric Von Falconer, founder of the Von Falconer K-9 training facility. This is a video to both introduce myself and the facility and some of its history along with the spiritual aspects of dog training. A major belief here is positive reinforcement! The facility itself was founded in 1979, it was originally built and designed for officers to come up to do their dog training with their police dogs. Today, we feature open weekend classes for Obedience, Agility, and Tracking.

We share a common belief amongst the facility, that each dog is unique and possesses a soul and is on their own path, their K-9 experience. As we each as humans have a soul and are indeed on our own paths of life, our human experiences.

It's truly all energy and what we strive to do is join the energy of both dog and owner, not as a force trying to dominate the animal into obedience, but more that the dog and owner are in a pact together.

As far as we are concerned, dogs have an elevated sense about them. They are very pure, they don't stress on various things that are so troubling to us as people, such as bills, or what time it is. All that is on their mind is the here and now and their unconditional love for their owner. We want to teach you how to sync your energies so you can join your dog in that special sacred space of time and how to be more centered.

So when training your dog, don't forget to breathe, love your animal and be patient. Each of your dogs shows you patience and unconditional love each day, and it's only right as their loving owner to show them the same respect.
