HANDLER COURSE 160 Hours Article / Evidence Search Training

MAR-KEN International's handler course is designed to train the handler and dog as a team. The course insures that the handler will be able to read and utilize his/her dog and demonstrate control of the dog under stress situations. This well-trained team will provide your department with a highly effective & productive law enforcement tool. Dog handler teams will be worked in tracking, vehicle stops, building search, area search, handler protection, suspect apprehension, agility, obedience, and crowd control. NARCOTICS DETECTION 160 Hours

MAR-KEN International also offers a four-week narcotic detection course. Dogs are trained to passively or aggressively respond to the odor of heroin, cocaine, methamphetimine, marijuana, and other substances upon request.

DUAL PURPOSE 240 Hours

MAR-KEN International offers a 240-hour Cross-Training course which will provide your department with a K-9 trained in both patrol service and narcotics detection. MAR-KEN International offers a 280-hour Cross Training Course which will provide your department with a K-9 trained in both patrol service and explosives detection.
