Hi Eric,
I bought a female Dutchie from you last year at the end of March. I came down with Bob Gutierrez & we picked her out. "Max" is her dad. "Kali" is doing very well, and is an excellent puppy. She is an incredible athlete, great swimmer, salt or fresh water, not scared of much. Very strong and very, very fast. We live in Connecticut now. We're doing a lot of exploring in the woods. Kali's getting good exercise. Hope all is well. Sincerely, Charles Kramer |

Eric,
Just wanted to pass on that Hazelnut has made it on the cover of a
book! I took this photo of Hazel a few months ago and apparently
the author liked her so much he wanted her for the cover of his new
book. I can't speak to the contents, but thought you should know one
of your little ones is a "cover model!" I have attached the
original photo and the link to her cover shot.

She just recently turned 2, and continues to be an incredible companion. We are actually interested in another of yours and wanted to know what if any litters you have available. If you could email me and let me know I would appreciate it; I am trying to surprise Eva for her birthday. Thanks again and hope you like the "cover model!!" Chris Goodroe |

He goes everywhere with us and stays in Hotels just wonderfully!! He LOVES to camp and hike and the beach he just can't get enough of. He is so well behaved, he is my baby boy! The best dog ever............... Oh he has to be the best looking dog ever too! (LOL!) We get stopped all the time and told how pretty he is! Thanks, Patty |

| Hi Guys, Attached are pics of Harley watching the movie "Marley and Me". It was a riot to watch him watch TV. Harley was so pooped out last night that he dropped into his crate and didn't move a muscle all night. This morning he came out in "slow motion". Lexi did a good job on him yesterday. She slept very good last night and you were right, she like to eat in her crate so that is where she dined on breakfast this morning. She was all wiggles and seemed very happy this morning. She is so sweet. |
|
|
|
Before I left for the train I noticed Harley
laying down facing his open door crate on the patio and staring
into it. Then I realized that that is where Levi was - in his
crate. He had that look on his face as if he was telling her
to come out and play. It was a Kodak moment I missed with the
camera. They two of them are going to be a lot of laughs for
sure. Eric and Brian, thank you so much for Levi and all that you do. I really appreciate it. By the way, don't forget about the washer and dryer. It would be good to use that for the dogs bedding and what ever else. Just let me know when you want to come and get it. I have some other pics of Harley I'll send you for fun. Love, Di |

it justice; he spent the next twenty minutes whining and looking for
her in the backyard. M. |

| Hi ! This is a picture of
Konan. He is a total stud. I couldn't think of ever owning a
greater dog...he's awesome!!! I wanted to see if we could start trying to save or get together the money for his Schutzhund Training. He only has basic obedience right now, will sit or lie down for extended periods. Does pretty good on leash and knows all commands but has a strong will. He's not off leash trained so to speak...will heed commands but wants to go play with other dogs when he sees them whether they like it or not. Kind of a typical funster. He has an incredibly strong bite and runs trails often and I think he's in pretty good shape. He is on a raw food diet which has been good for his need for water, coat, physical stamina, and overall health. |
|
|
|
I'd like to get an idea of what the individual and full series of the training costs and whether it must be paid all at once or over the time that he is there with you. Like everyone we're in a little money crunch but he is two years now and his professional training is a priority for me. As you
know I live way down south in Thousand Oaks and want to make a full
commitment to leave him with you to do his training when the time
comes because it will be next to impossible for me to drive back and
forth to train with him. I look forward to hearing from you! |

| Hi Eric, Attached please find a couple pictures of our wonderful German Shepherd that we purchased from you in 2004. Chief was born on 7/11/04. He is the best dog and very protective of the baby!! We are waiting for a female German Shepherd that was also purchased from you to go into heat so we can get a puppy that looks just like Chief. He is truly the best dog and we love him so much. As you can see, our baby, who is two, loves him very much!! Thanks for the most wonderful dog!! |

September 2, 2007 Please don't make fun of him because he is wearing a life-jacket! He's still learning and I don't want him to get tired and not be able to handle himself. Thanks for my best friend! Thank you for making this little guy because he makes me smile, laugh and enjoy life like I used to years ago. I learn something new every day either about myself or about him (usually about myself). Thanks again and I hope all of you are doing well. By-the-way... In one of the pictures he's on the bed, BUT!!!!!! it's the guest bed and we don't sleep on it (it's really the cat's bed). Warm Regards, |

June 8, 2007 Eric, I can't thank you enough for Dexter. He is one in a million, the poster child for (German Shepherds), a gorgeous red sable with amber eyes, fine features, and long legs. He stops traffic wherever he goes. Each year just before Halloween his red turns a bright orange color. He is quite a sight sitting on my front porch next to a pumpkin. He is the most extraordinary Service Dog, Protection Dog, and Companion Dog all wrapped up in one. He is calm, stable, secure, loving, and loyal. Nothing rattles him. I can't take credit for teaching him to be my Service Dog. From the time he was eight weeks old I have only had to tell him something once and he understands it. He then applies that to other situations. He has always watched my every move. At the age of five months old he saw me open a door. He wanted to be with me to protect me, so after I closed the door he opened it immediately and appeared by my side. He won't let anything get between us, not even the shower door. |
| He can't wait for me to put his
Service Backpack on, because he loves work. He knows that we are
going somewhere together so that he will be doing his job. To please
me by doing what I ask him to do is the reward that he lives for.
Everywhere we go people stop us. They can't believe how beautiful he
is. Then they see what he does for me and they can't believe how
intelligent he is. We go out to do our errands and what would
normally take half an hour takes three hours, because people stop,
watch him, and ask how he knows to do what he does. In church people can't take their eyes off of him. Everyone is amused when he stands with the congregation to greet the pastor and stands again when the sermon is about to begin. This always makes the pastor smile. One Sunday when the Good Shepherd sermon was given, the pastor likened it to Dexter being a Service Dog and helping people. Wherever we go people stop me and tell me that they want a German Shepherd like Dexter. I naturally refer them to you, because I can't speak highly enough about the breeding you do. Dexter instinctively knows what to do to protect me. He sizes up situations and I always put my trust in him. He watches the house before we enter it to make sure that no stranger is there. He watches men especially when they are carrying something in their hand or over their shoulder, to prevent me from being hit. One day he even stopped a woman from coming up behind me when he saw her raise her hand toward my back. These are just a few of things be does to protect me. I have a security alarm system, but he is the best security alarm system I could ever hope for. He hears a pin drop, anyone would be stupid to try and enter my home with him barking, snarling, and growling. He means business. I know that everyone thinks that they have the best dog. I believe that Dexter is more than a dog. He's like a human being. He thinks, reasons, plots, and even sulks when his feelings are hurt.

| October 29, 2006 Eric, You don't know what you did - you gave us a million dollar dog for only a fraction of his worth. Thank you so much for him! He is the best pup ever. We named him Von Falconer's Boogie Woogie - we call him Woogie. He has Shadow's temperament, but is smarter and more willing. He is loving, and brave, and sweet... He is perfect. We love him (can you tell?) He is just so good, I can't believe it. |

I am thinking of bringing him to class on Saturday,
either this week or next. What time is the beginner class? Can I just
show up, or do I need to let you know in advance? Robyn Beagle |

September 9th, 2006 Hi Eric & Bryan! We are thrilled with our almost 2 year old Von Falconer Shepherd, Larry. We are thinking about doing agility training with him. Can you give us a little more info on your classes? Are there any prerequisites? Looking forward to hearing more about it. Thanks, Jen and Chrise |

August 24th, 2006 Hi Eric, Just wanted to give you a short update on Quinn, born 8/9/01. Sire: Jerry Dam: Anna. She tips the scales at 65 pounds and is in excellent condition. Always moving, she's an all around athlete and excellent companion for daily adventures. |
||
|
|
I couldn't have asked for a better German Shepherd
Dog. Her breeding and temperament is rock solid. The photograph of
Quinn was taken recently in Bishop in the Eastern Sierras. We've been
hiking and rock climbing there for the last few years. It's wonderful
to have an obedient and confident dog to hike with off-leash. She's
friendly to other dogs and people, but does a great "watch" when
strangers approach. I've been told on more than one occasion that she's
intimating. Yep, she's perfect! Thank you, Laurie. |

21, 2006Hello Eric and Bryan, Just though I'd drop y'all a line and give you an update on Von and June. Von is growing (still) into a more handsome "stud" everyday. Never a day goes by that when we are out that he doesn't receive a complement on how handsome/beautiful, strong, and well behaved (hmmm....) he is. He is approximately 93 lbs. of lean doggie! There have been a couple of times that he has stepped on my foot when playing and has actually given me a bruise (my bad, I was barefoot or wearing sandals). The last time it almost felt like he fractured some bones in MY foot. Nothing a little ice and elevation didn't help. I feel that his "allergies" are more environmental than food related. I say this because he had been on the fish and potato diet meal for approximately 3 mos. and would still have intermittent flare-ups of dermatitis. He has been on low doses of prednisone and fish oil capsules that help but I notice that when we go to our neighborhood park his allergies are exacerbated for a couple of days and he gets intensely itchy, redness, and scratches so much that he ends up loosing patches of hair. We just recently figured this out and he no longer goes to our local park, He also gets bathed once every 1 1/2 to 3 weeks with a natural shampoo called "Earth Bath" which contains Tea Tree Oil and a complementary Tea Tree Oil and Oatmeal conditioner spray for in between bathing. This has seemed to help A LOT! along with varying his dose of prednisone. Just thought I would be specific about this just in case any of your other clients are having troubles with their pooches and contact dermatitis. He LOVES going for car rides and playing with his "chuck-it" @ the beach. He LOVES the beach! He has brought so much joy to our lives and even on his most difficult days it is impossible to not love him. June has shrunk to a sleek 71 lbs. She has the most beautiful soft, dark features and just as with Von, not a day goes by that she does not get complements on her beauty. They are a beautiful pair and complement each other well. Although she may seem docile and gentle, she is VERY protective of her new home! She will bark at anyone who
comes over as if to let them know "this is MY territory and YOU are
intruding"! Even more so than Von. Her figure has returned to about
95-98% lean muscle and can hold her own as far as her strength is
concerned. When Von is trying to overpower her and starts to pound on
her, she'll tolerate it and won't do a thing to him until I step in a
give her permission to defend herself. She won't hesitate when I tell
her to "get him" and she will then assert herself and fend him off or
calm him down some. Very impressive she is! She has been out of season
for approximately 2 weeks now and my god that was the longest three
weeks of our lives! She has an appointment to be spayed @ the beginning
of August. We were told by the Humane Society that we have to wait 1
month after her heat period ends to reduce complications and to keep her
away from other males until then as well. After her recovery she will be
able to return for the remaining 5 lessons. We have been working hard
with her and have had to be more firm. She has been manipulative! And we
feel like she has pulled one over on us. She knows her commands and has
made some good improvements but she has some days where she becomes VERY
stubborn! She also brings us great joy! She is a very good swimmer and
prefers still waters as I have learned. She also loves going for car
rides, likes the beach and just LOVES ice cubes! She comes running when
she hears the ice maker. She is "sneaky" at times and makes grunting
noises occasionally. It is because of this that she has earned the
nicknames "the Coyote" and "hedgehog".We have been a very happy family and are so proud of our poochies as I loving call them collectively. It almost makes me want to get another! But we have our hands full now. Eventually, after Von has fully matured and finished all of his training (we anticipate him starting his protection training when he turns two) we will start to re-think it. I can't thank you enough for all that we have learned from you. We are so glad to have found you in our search for our canine(s). Again, they have bought so much joy to us and we love them so much that we just can't wait to get home from work to spend time with them and I anticipate my days off with them. Thank You again, Jason and Kristal |

| March 7, 2006 Dear Eric and Brian, I wanted to send you some pictures of Morgan & Zuanka in her new home! I think you would be pleased in how quickly she's become part of the family. She's now housebroken (without her crate), is running up and down the stairs at will and his taking her duties on "perimeter watch" very seriously!! What a great dog for us to have out here in the country! |
|
| I really think
she's very happy here and again, wanted to thank you for letting us have
her! Will get the crate back to you when the weather gets better! Thanks again! Debbie & Ed Lyons |

December 4, 2003 Hello to all at Von Falconer, I though you might want to post this lovely picture of my precious dogs - Casey (Male) 3rd son of Jerry, and Valkarie (female) now 9 months daughter of Sudie. Thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs. I know that I am biased but as far as I am concerned no other dog exists but the German Shepherd Dog. Happy Holidays, Cindi, Sean, Valkarie, and Casey |

July 11, 2003 Hi Eric, It looks like Marco (my third Von Falconer puppy) will be as outstanding as the other two. He has such a stable temperament, and it looks like his drive will be quite high. What a pleasure it is to begin to train and socialize such a self- confident and outgoing puppy! You are getting quite a reputation in San Diego for these wonderful dogs. I met Manhattan last night and everyone at the training field said they knew immediately he was from the same breeder as Gianni and Rico! His owners are just as pleased as I am. It was really nice to see you and Bryan- and all the dogs look great. I was pleased to be able to see Marco's father work. I'm attaching a photo of Marco at eleven weeks - quite a handsome boy, isn't he? Again, thanks for my wonderful dogs. Love, Paula |
|
May 20, 2003 Eric and Brian, Thank you again for taking such great care of Manhattan while we were away!! The great training he received seems like a bonus to me because I was so confident in the care he was receiving!! I feel like we are off to a great start with Manhattan and I love to think of his potential. We have already shared our video from our visit yesterday with family and friends they, were all so impressed with what you do there at your facility. We made our 8 hour drive home yesterday with Manhattan and he acted as if it was the same old thing like he'd never left. When we arrived home he ran straight to the front door and sat like a gentlemen waiting to go inside. He knew exactly where he was. He ran inside and right to the back door. He remembered he had neighbors to bark at and he did. They were happy to see him home too. He came inside, took a look around, and soon found his old favorite toys and blanket and plopped down on his bed and was just as if he had never left. He slept in his spot in our room with us that evening and promptly at 6 a.m. just like old times his nose was in my face ready to go for our morning walk. It is so wonderful to have Manhattan home again but I know that the care he received from you while we could not be with him, not to mention the extra training and foundation that you have laid for us is priceless. Thank You, |

November 21, 2001 Dear Mr. Falconer, Thank you for selling us the most incredible dog we have ever owned. We purchased Premo from you. He was born 1/10/98 by Clancy Vom Besthaus out of Von Falconer's Sachi. We renamed him Barron. He is exceedingly well trained, has never bitten anyone and is the smartest, most magnificent dog we have ever seen. As you can tell we love him quite a lot! We live in San Diego but spend 4 months a year in Aspen, Colorado. It is quite a sight to see Barron swimming in the high mountain lakes and streams and running across the tundra! His job in the evenings is to stay with our son until he goes to sleep then join us in our room. He knows that's his job and he is usually in his spot before Devin goes to bed and has an uncanny sense to not leave before Devin is asleep. We hope you are around if something ever happens to Barron to help us to try to replace him someday. One of our fears is that we will never be able to find such a fine animal again. Hope all is well with you and your dogs! Sincerely, |
