  VAL'S VIEW

By Von Falconer's

Feature Columnist

Lady Valroy

To All My Dear Readers,

Once again, there is a holiday upon us

when humans will change

their normal habits and clothing

to partake in over-the-top celebrating

   combining special food

    and ancient rituals.

I don't really understand this holiday either.....

From what I overhear its history has

something to do with snakes.

But it seems the current celebrations

all involve:  dyeing everything green

(from clothing to food and drink) and

lots of humans eating corned beef and

cabbage, while others are searching for

where rainbows end and for tiny plants

with four leaves that are somehow

supposed to improve their lives....

And, lastly - all of these meals, activities

and manifestations are to be enhanced by

the intake of extreme amounts of alcohol.

Weird.

Anyway, I hope all my readers

will enjoy the holiday,

And until next time,

take the dogs for lots of walks

and don't forget to buy treats

(they don't have to be green)!

Val
